First charter of the year, and we hooked into a stripe marlin not even 1 hour into trolling.  All this took place just 25 miles off shore.  Bait is all over, and the bill fish numbers are still slim despite all the bait all over and quality water with ideal temps.  We raised just a few sail fish on top of that, and brought a pair or dorado in boat.  All in all a decent day, but lots of time between bites.  I am sure it will improve as the moon phases out.
Tight  Lines,
