We are always pushing our spring into the summer months as the variety of speices is what most like. As well as the short runs. This family has great fishing at just 20 miles all week. The bottom of the ''pocket'' is where the better marlin fishing as daily they had their blue marlin shot. Finally the amount of stud bull mahi stole the show. Biggest mahi around 55 lbs! That's alot of fish tacos. For more info contact your Captain NOT your salesman for truthful insight on prime fishing times. Spoiler alert its year round.....

May 13th, 2022- HOT BITE ALERT!!
These brothers had themselves a day! This would be the most billfish caught in one day for the 2021-22 season. That's something you can hang your hat on! 51 releases on pacific sails.
76-64-51 Sails
1-1-0 Blue Marlin
5-4-2 Bull Mahi (40 lbs each)
No signs of this fishery slowing down. Year round bite and this body of fish has been parked here for about a month now. Great time for calm seas and big numbers.

April 26th, 2022- Fly Fishing.
Alot of fish around. Bait guys are seeing 30-40 shots! Calm ocean, good blue water at less than 10 miles! Better fishing around 25-30 miles offshore. Alot of life, spinner dolphins, big mahi mahi and blues in the mix. On the fly we had 25 shots, lazy fish, but a few stayed stuck! This group came all the way from Quebec, Canada. Better luck tomorrow anglers.

Last couple days we were fishing a local tournament and since about 3 days we came across a large area holding fish. The current pushed these fish from 39-40 miles to 25 miles over the last couple of days. Great with fuel as costly as it has been and good for increased fishing time. Calm weather and big numbers, this is what the spring bite is all about. Also if you're lucky to come across TUNA, it has been pretty good. Keep that radio off...
