Oct 5, 2014 Guatemala Fishing Report

HOLA ANGLERS!

The first portion of March was very good.  Better days of 40 shots at sailfish, as well as tuna in the 50-90 lb range.  We are still running a good 40 miles one way to the western ledge but it's worth it.  Go where the fish are!  The better fishing comes in waves.  The 3rd week of March slowed down.  Top days maybe 20 shots at sails, but BIG mahi in the mix, yellowfin tuna fishing once you find the spinners is also productive.  Our biggest challenge is green water stirred up after a few days of tough wind in the region.  Once that settles down the currents move it out and hopefully bring in the good stuff with fish.

People are traveling, and we are putting in th effort to show our appreciation by going big distances.  For live reporting please follow us on instagram.
