With more and more boats getting back into action after over hauls, and major maintenance, the reports are starting to get better and better. All charters agree that the water temperatures are starting to level off to a consistent range that is desirable for sails and marlin alike. Just last week the averages have double for sailfish release, and as expected Marlin are showing up every other day for the more active fleets. Reports in Guatemala are usually slow for the spring to fall time frame simply because nobody is fishing. Usually just us and locals. With very few boats, and most charters closed down for a couple of months it is tough to track the fish as we normally do. It is a team effort amongst us all. So this usually results in slow reports with the bigger lodges. However, you will hear about everything we catch at least once a week. You never know when it will turn on, and you need to get down here.
